DIY Softbox: Making a Softbox at Home

Creating a DIY softbox can be a fun and rewarding project. Here's a simple guide on how to make a softbox at home:

Here I am telling you how to make a softbox at your home and all materials are available at your home.

Required Material for Softbox:

So this is the main part of my blog to make a softbox. We need these things:

• Piece of Card Box.
• Sheets.
• Butter Papers or white transparent shoppers.
• Fevicol.
• Paper cutter.
• Srews.
• Aluminium File sheets.
• Wire Holder.
• Plug.
• Screw Driver.
• 18-watt Saver.
• Scale.
• Marker.
• Tap.
• Glue Gun.

Cutting of Cards.

1. Draw a line of 12 inches at the card.
2. Draw a line of 10.5 inches at the card with the first line.
3. Draw a line of 6 inches at the card with the second line.

                                

then cut it, you have to cut Four pieces of cards like this.Now Paste sheets on one side of the Cards with glue.

and paste Aluminium foil on another side of the same cards.

Prepare four cards in the same way.

Combine all four Cards:

1. First, you paste small tap pieces like in the picture I am pasting black tap.

2. Add some good quality Glue like:

3. Attach another piece of card from the aluminium side.

wait till it dries.

3. Now use a glue gun for the rich attachment and wait till dries.

Attach all remaining pieces in the same way firstly paste the tap then use glue and make this type of shape.

Create a place for Holder:

1. Cut two pieces of card and measure their size.

2. cut another piece for a holder like:

3. Attach aluminium foil on one side and paste the sheet on the side. Add large and small pieces to the softbox and do a hole for holder passing.

4. Attach Butter paper to the front of the softbox or transparent shoppers.

softbox is ready now make a Stand for the softbox.

Required Material for Stand:

Here we are making an Adjustable stand.

• One piece of 3 4-inch of six feet pipe.
• One piece of half-inch of one feet pipe.
• Four bands.
• Six sub-half-inch pipes.
• Scissor.
• Firelighter.
• Screw.
• Three T-connectors.

Make an Adjustable stand.

1. Make a Base or foundation of a stand with connections of Six sub-half-inch pipes, 3 T-connectors, and 4 bands.

Add some Glue also for a handsome attachment.

2. Hot the scissor with a firefighter and make 3 holes in half-inch of 1-feet pipe.

Do One mole here on the other side for a long screw.

now attach the long stand.

 

Add Cardboard pieces for Adjustment:

We need 4 more pieces of card box for hanging. 

cut the card box 7 inches width and 5 inches height, and cut all remaining 3 pieces in the same measurement. Then rape in black or white tap for making it Hard. Make a hole in the centre of all cards for screw. Paste all card boxes with glue gun like:

Make a piece-like angle > Height will be 20 cm and width 6 cm. We need 2 pieces in the same way.

Now attache stand with a screw previously we did a hole in the pipe.

Attach card box for adjustable or moveable.

Add another card box and make a hole. Attach it to the stand with a screw.

Combine both card boxes.

You can adjust the Height of the stand and can move the softbox.
